Knowledge Alliance came to eXstream with a goal of transitioning from instructor-led classrooms in each of its offices to centrally produced lectures distributed across broadband networks. We are acting as KA's exclusive multimedia solution provider by licensing them our IT training and collaboration application, hosting the application on the eXstreaming! Platform and developing their external network architecture. Our enterprise application enables KA to seamlessly produce the event online using synchronized PowerPoint slides, collaboration tools allowing interaction between students and lecturers on a virtual whiteboard, and screen grabs so the instructor can control a student's PC for more effective instruction. By creating their "Virtual Academy", KA has eliminated the cost of having location-based instructors and has developed a valuable content creation and on-demand viewing capability.
